Welcome!

Thank You for visiting the website for New England Ninjutsu, a proud member of the Bujinkan Dojo of Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. Founded in 1982 by Greg Kowalski, the dojo was reorganized in 1989 when Sensei Kowalski returned from four and a half years of training in Japan with Dr. Hatsumi and the senior instructors of the Bujinkan.

After becoming involved in the martial arts in the early 70's, Greg began training in Ninjutsu under Stephen K Hayes in 1981. After attending the first Bujinkan Taikai (training festival) in Japan in 1983, he became one of the first and only foreigners to live and train in Japan with the Grandmaster. Besides his accomplishments in the Bujinkan, during his stay in Japan he became the first American member of the Shoseikan Goju ryu karate federation, the Satsuki-kai Naginata Dojo and fought as a representive of the Chiba-shi Shorinji Kempo team. Greg is also the senior, non-Japanese representative of the Bujinkan/Myo-Fu-An dojo of Koryu Muramatsu and is a Certified Rubenfeld Synergist. Since his return in 1989 Greg has taught countless seminars throughout the USA and Canada while teaching weekly classes in Wallingford, CT.
